Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Improvement to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the improvement strategy for the service, working closely with senior leaders and stakeholders to drive transformational change and improvement projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive improvement strategy, aligned with the service's vision and values.
  • Lead on the development of complex transformational change and improvement projects, working collaboratively with senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Produce and present evidence-based reports to gain support and decision-making on various projects and/or service improvements.
  • Prepare submissions for external bids and grants, ensuring compliance with Council financial regulations.
  • Lead on staff engagement, ensuring good communication and feedback from staff, and oversee the learning from feedback to ensure staff are effectively engaged.
  • Contribute to the operational management and strategies development of the wider service as a member of the Children's Service Management Team.
  • Assist and deputise for the Assistant Director of Children's Services and provide cover for other Head of Service, as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • A social work qualification or equivalent.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation.
  • Registered or eligible for registration.
  • This post requires registration with the relevant health professional council/governing body (Social Care England).
