About the Role

To contribute to the planning and delivery of a strategy promoting function and independence in students, enabling and supporting their learning. This involves implementing group and individual independence programmes, collaborating with professionals, and sharing expertise and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implementing day-to-day plans for pupils' needs, ensuring timely and effective formulation of moving and handling risk assessments, physical and postural management programmes.
  • Organising equipment clinics for postural management reviews and regular maintenance and servicing of postural and moving and handling equipment.
  • Delivering relevant training to school staff, including therapeutic movement in water programs and assessment and implementation of seating and mobility equipment solutions.

Salary: £18,304 - £23,221 per annum. The role requires strong communication and team working skills, as well as the ability to lead and collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
