Critical Care Physiotherapist

We are seeking an experienced physiotherapist to cover a one-year maternity leave position at Hammersmith Hospital, working with our dynamic team in cardio-respiratory physiotherapy.
This role involves developing specialist skills and knowledge in respiratory physiotherapy, including NIV, ventilator and tracheostomy weaning and rehabilitation. As a highly specialist physiotherapist, you will assist in team management and have supervisory, teaching and training responsibilities.
You will work closely with the Band 8a Clinical Lead Physiotherapist and be part of a well-established multi-disciplinary team. We offer comprehensive in-service training and induction programmes, as well as opportunities for postgraduate study.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead a team and provide advanced care to patients in a multi-cultural and diverse population.
- Contribute to planning, coordination, development and evaluation of the service.
- Assist the Clinical Lead in providing specialist advice to other professionals.
- Participate in weekend on-call rota and overnight on-call duties.
