Role Overview:

This role involves working as a physiotherapist in critical care and respiratory medicine services. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake a team leader role in planning, co-ordinating, delivering and evaluating the Physiotherapy Service provided to critically ill patients and other medical and surgical patients across the hospital.
  • Be responsible for own caseload and be responsible for a defined area of service or a particular patient type, working without direct supervision.

The ideal candidate will have experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team, supervising and teaching junior physiotherapists, and participating in clinical governance and risk management.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £55,000-£75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
