Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our team at The Harley Street Clinic London as a specialist in critical care and oncology.

About the Role

This is a permanent position working as an acute physiotherapist within a team managing patients in the critical care unit, oncology and surgical wards at The Harley Street Clinic. You will work alongside a wider AHP team including Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Dietitians and Psychologists.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide highly skilled clinical abilities and expertise within physiotherapy, underpinned by advanced theoretical knowledge of professional practice and with a specific focus on the management of patients with critical care, oncology and complex surgical problems.
  • To undertake comprehensive physiotherapy assessments of patients, applying advanced clinical reasoning skills to formulate a clinical diagnosis of their condition, set therapeutic/rehabilitation goals and objectives.
  • To deliver individual treatment programmes based on specialist knowledge of evidence-based practice and treatment options using clinical skills.
  • Attendance at ward rounds and MDT meetings to contribute to decision-making about patient care.
  • Maintaining accurate up-to-date patient records complying with departmental and CSP standards.
