Maintenance Person Job Description

As a key member of our team, the Maintenance Person will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily inspections to ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to repair and maintain facilities, fixtures, and fittings.
  • Undertake maintenance tasks within their level of qualification, prioritizing staff and customer safety.
  • Report maintenance tasks requiring expenditure to management and recommend remedial action.
  • Advise management on long-term maintenance projects and provide estimates for specialist services.
  • Liaise with contractors to ensure compliance with company health and safety policies.
  • Provide maintenance services for outdoor artificial surfaces, including redistribution of sand and rubber infill.
  • Maintain and repair pitch perimeter fencing, working at heights as necessary.
  • Remove litter and broken glass from site areas.
  • Secure stock and equipment, conducting regular stock checks.
  • Assist with beer cellar management, including stock rotation and manual handling duties.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven maintenance experience and knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work at heights and with manual handling equipment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
