Role Overview

Cleansing Service Group is seeking a skilled HGV Class 2 driver to join our team in Blandford Forum, Dorset. As a key member of our environmental collection team, you will be responsible for collecting hazardous and non-hazardous waste in a Class 2 curtain-sided vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collecting and transporting waste in a safe and efficient manner
  • Performing daily vehicle checks and maintaining a clean and tidy vehicle
  • Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with customers
  • Averaging 48 hours per week and working flexible hours as required
  • Meeting the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 25kg drums

Requirements

  • HGV Class 2 licence
  • Digi-card and current CPC qualification
  • Previous relevant driving experience and possession of a digi-card
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and customer service skills
