We have two full-time store-based pharmacists and a strong dispensary team made up of qualified and trainee dispensers. Our pharmacy offers flu vaccinations, malaria prevention, pharmacy first services, contraception, and hypertension services.


Job Description

As an expert in the supply of medicines and accuracy checking, your role will be to support pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical services. You will work alternate weekends and include two late nights per week. Your key responsibilities include ordering medicines, checking, dispensing, and endorsing prescriptions. You will also oversee dispensing team members, prepare and check prescriptions, take medicine histories from patients, and provide advice on treatment options.


Salary & Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is £45,000 - £55,000. We offer a market-leading Accuracy Checking Programme, continuous support, and a competitive holiday allowance. Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful, you will need to be a registered pharmacy technician with the Pharmacy Regulator (GPhC) with the recognised accuracy checking qualification. You should have a passion for patient and customer care, ability to deliver high standards efficiently, and comfort overseeing the dispensing team and offering support to the wider healthcare team.
