Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Analytical Chemist to join our team as a Service Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and calibrating analytical equipment at customer sites.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a QC/analytical laboratory and excellent customer-facing skills. A degree in Chemistry or a closely related subject is also required.

You will receive a 4-week training period in the Netherlands, where you will learn about all aspects of our instruments and applications.

This is a field-based position that requires frequent travel across the UK, with regular overnight stays. You will need a valid driving license and a willingness to travel extensively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation of analytical equipment at customer sites
  • Training of customers on analytical equipment - operation and maintenance
  • Report writing after customer visits
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in Chemistry or a closely related subject
  • Prior experience in a QC/analytical laboratory
  • Excellent customer-facing skills
  • Valid driving license
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the UK
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is approximately £32,000 per annum, depending on experience. Other benefits include modern work equipment, a company car (also for private use), and opportunities for further education and training.
