Key Tasks:
- Performing metrology and maintenance tasks in a clean-room environment.
- Using acid cleaning and thermo-compression bonding, along with potting and basic mechanical assembly, to create optical sensor components.
- Metrology measurements and product verification using microscopes and other measuring instrumentation.
- Cleaning with chemicals such as solvents and acids, and maintaining accurate process documentation.
- Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and working with small tools and components.
- Detailed metrology, machine maintenance, and calibration experience necessary.
- Mechanical drawings can be interpreted and defined processes followed.
- Basic IT skills using Word and Excel expected, knowledge of production control software beneficial.
- Comfortable working with acid and polishing chemicals.
