Deputy Programme Manager - Defence Projects

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Programme Manager to support the delivery of cutting-edge Defence projects. This role involves working on a high-profile control systems development programme, contributing to the modern backbone of defence.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Act as the operational lead on ongoing projects, ensuring smooth communication between project management and key stakeholders.
  2. Support business development by identifying and securing new project opportunities through to contract award.
  3. Lead a team of professionals in delivering Defence projects.
  4. Develop and implement effective strategies to drive project success.
  5. Foster strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in Project Management, preferably in Defence engineering.
  • Proven leadership skills, including team management and development.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing abilities.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is £80,000 - £85,000 per annum, plus benefits.
