Residential Services Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Ofsted Registered Children's home service. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the service, managing staff, and providing high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Management: Supervise and manage a team of staff, ensuring they are equipped to provide excellent care and support to our residents.
- Care Planning: Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents, working closely with the management team and other stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks to the service, ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents and staff.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to the management team, highlighting key issues and areas for improvement.
- Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities, ensuring you are up-to-date with best practices and industry standards.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years' experience working in a residential care setting, with at least 2 years at a senior level.
- Qualifications: A Level 4 Diploma in Children's Residential Services or equivalent.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, residents, and external agencies.
- Other: A full UK driving license and the ability to work flexible hours, including sleep-ins and on-call shifts.
