Grounds Maintenance Team Leader

Location: Bristol, UK

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time

Working Hours: 7am - 4pm, Monday - Friday

About the Role:

As a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising a team of grounds maintenance professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to clients across North Somerset. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Leading a team of grounds maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
  2. Coordinating and scheduling maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks and effective use of resources.
  3. Monitoring and maintaining equipment, vehicles, and tools, ensuring they are in good working order.
  4. Developing and implementing maintenance plans, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  5. Collaborating with colleagues and clients to resolve issues and improve service delivery.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Prior experience in grounds maintenance, with a strong understanding of health and safety protocols and procedures.
  2. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  3. Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  4. A full valid UK driving licence.
