Grounds Maintenance Team Leader

Location: Bristol, UK

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time

Working Hours: 7am - 4pm, Monday - Friday

About the Role:

As a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising a team of grounds maintenance professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to clients across North Somerset. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Leading a team of grounds maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
  2. Coordinating and overseeing the maintenance of grounds, including grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning, and flower bed maintenance.
  3. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  4. Developing and implementing effective maintenance plans to meet client requirements.
  5. Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Prior experience in grounds maintenance, with a strong understanding of the industry and its best practices.
  2. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  3. Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  4. A full valid UK driving licence.
