About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to join our team in Nailsea, Bristol. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising a range of activities, including grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning, and flower bed maintenance for clients across the North Somerset region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of grounds maintenance staff to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services
  • Plan and coordinate maintenance schedules to meet client requirements
  • Conduct site visits to inspect and maintain grounds, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve overall team performance
Requirements
  • Proven experience in grounds maintenance or a related field, with a strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel to client sites
  • PA1 and PA6 certificates an advantage, but not essential
