Grounds Maintenance Team Leader

Location: Bristol

Contract type: Permanent, Full time

Working hours: 7am - 4pm Monday - Friday

About the Role:

As a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising a team of grounds maintenance professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to clients across North Somerset. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Leading a team of grounds maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of tasks.
  2. Coordinating and scheduling maintenance activities, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing downtime.
  3. Monitoring and maintaining equipment, ensuring it is in good working order and making recommendations for upgrades or replacements as needed.
  4. Developing and implementing maintenance plans, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  5. Collaborating with colleagues and clients to resolve issues and improve services.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Prior experience in grounds maintenance, with a strong understanding of health and safety protocols and procedures.
  2. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  3. Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  4. A full valid UK driving licence.
