Grounds Maintenance Team Leader

Location: Bristol, UK

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time

Working Hours: 7am - 4pm, Monday - Friday

About the Role:

As a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising a team of grounds maintenance professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to clients across North Somerset. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Leading a team of grounds maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
  2. Coordinating and overseeing the maintenance of grounds, including grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning, and flower bed maintenance.
  3. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all team members.
  4. Developing and implementing effective maintenance schedules, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.
  5. Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Prior experience in grounds maintenance, with a proven track record of leadership and team management.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
  3. Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  4. A full valid UK driving licence.
