Job Title: Principal Electrical Engineer

Job Description:
The Principal Electrical Engineer will lead the development and management of requirements and acceptance criteria for power systems at BAE Systems. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, power system modelling, and industry codes and standards. They will work closely with the Engineering Manager and external specialists to develop platform power systems and manage the day-to-day activities of the team.

Responsibilities:
- Develop design solutions to meet project or business milestones
- Manage requirements and acceptance criteria for power systems
- Produce documentation, including diagrams and technical specifications
- Provide technical support and review supplier documentation

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have a degree in Electrical Engineering (BEng or MEng) and CEng certification. Experience working with engineering lifecycle, power system modelling, and industry codes and standards is essential. Additionally, you should have strong communication skills and be able to articulate complex technical arguments clearly.

Benefits:
