About the Role

We are seeking an experienced project lead to join our team as an Advanced Power Generation Project Lead. This role will be responsible for leading the engineering design and factory team to deliver the engineering, prototyping, assembly, and test of a generator to system requirements and interfaces, program timescales, and budget.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in manufacturing practices, particularly design and specification of advanced tooling and equipment for build and test of rotating machines. Experience with Ansys and Creo 3D CAD modeling software is also required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the engineering design and factory team to deliver the engineering, prototyping, assembly, and test of a generator.
  • Develop a manufacturing and test facility within RMR with required tooling and equipment for assembly and testing of prototype components, the generator, and other system equipment.
  • Accountable for end-to-end project deliverables, including direct people management responsibility, staffing, and performance development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing practices, particularly design and specification of advanced tooling and equipment for build and test of rotating machines.
  • Experience with Ansys and Creo 3D CAD modeling software.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
