About the Role

Edinburgh Woollen Mill is seeking an Ecommerce Operations Manager to join our Digital team at our Head Office in Carlisle. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the smooth running of our ecommerce platforms and contribute to delivering continued growth in a crucial area of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison between the Digital team and other departments within the organisation, as well as external agencies and partners.
  • E nsure the efficient and effective operation of the ecommerce platforms.
  • Oversee web development plans, both ad-hoc and aligned with the wider digital strategy.
  • Coordinate and project manage inter-departmental teams to deliver high-quality projects on time.
  • Manage software integrations, including PIM (and PIM workflows), CRM databases, audience segmentation, email automations, loyalty programmes, review and social media integrations, along with despatch software.
  • Provide technical expertise for the business, assessing new and existing software, and identifying their benefits and potential applications.
  • Identify areas for website improvement, focusing on UX and CRO techniques, and present financial implications.
  • Produce and present digital trading and performance reports.
Requirements
  • Experience in digital technologies, preferably with an ecommerce focus.
  • Knowledge of SaaS platforms, such as PIM, CRM, and ESP.
  • Project management experience, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • An ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • A passion for the worlds of digital and fashion.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in an omni-channel environment, particularly in the fashion sector.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console.

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
