About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Priory Group. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our patients to engage in self-care, productive, and recreational activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support patients in planning and facilitating 1:1 and group interventions to meet their occupational needs.
  • Work closely with the Occupational Therapist and multidisciplinary team to identify patients' occupational needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Assist in the delivery of occupational therapy programs, including activities such as cooking, cleaning, and leisure pursuits.
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients to help them achieve their goals.

Requirements

  • Experience in mental health or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassion, enthusiasm, creativity, and proactivity.
