Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Reaside Clinic. As a key member of our Occupational Therapy Department, you will work closely with our Occupational Therapist to deliver one-to-one interventions and group work, promoting independence and improving emotional wellbeing.
Main DutiesYou will be supported by our Occupational Therapist and receive regular management supervision and clinical supervision. Training and development opportunities will be provided to support your growth and development in the role. We are looking for someone with an NVQ level 3 in Healthcare or a relevant qualification, and a good understanding of the role of Occupational Therapy in a mental health setting.

Person SpecificationWe are looking for someone who understands the broad principles of the person-centred recovery approach and has competency in one or more leisure/creative/technical activity. Experience within an OT role is desirable, but not essential. If you are a motivated and confident individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality care, we would love to hear from you.
