A leading, highly reputable Main Contractor that undertakes a range of projects within multiple sectors has an excellent opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join them on a permanent basis, overseeing a range of new build and refurbishment projects within the education sector up to £5m.

As a business, they carry out a range of work including new build, internal and external refurbishments, fit-out, and alteration projects, between £100,000 and £10m in value, with a range of public and private clients.

They have recently been awarded a number of projects as part of a 4-year framework agreement within the education sector, carrying out a range of new build and refurbishment projects to schools and academies in the Southern Counties.

They are looking for a Contracts Manager to join them on a permanent basis, based from their offices, overseeing projects across the Southern Home Counties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of education projects, ensuring timely completion and within budget
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Oversee project planning, coordination, and execution, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects, including design, procurement, and construction
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring profitability and minimizing risks
  • Ensure effective communication and stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of managing education projects, with a focus on new build and refurbishment
  • Experience working with public and private clients, with a strong understanding of their needs and expectations
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines
