Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Scientist to join our Nuclear Medicine Physics team at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Scientist in Nuclear Medicine Physics, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Clinical Diagnostic Nuclear Medicine, PET and Molecular Radiotherapy (MRT) services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of Nuclear Medicine services at Southampton and the surrounding areas.
- Contribute to the group's growing involvement in research.
- Provide scientific advice and expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine.
- Experience of practical Radiation Protection and radionuclide therapy dosimetry is essential.
- Travel between customers by car, ferry and/or plane may be required on occasion.
Requirements:
- HCPC Registered Clinical Scientist for Nuclear Medicine Physics.
- In-depth knowledge of current practice in diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine.
- Experience of providing scientific advice and expertise.
- Practical Radiation Protection and radionuclide therapy dosimetry experience.
