Adele Carr Recruitment is partnering with a growing company in Widnes to find an Accounts Assistant. The successful candidate will be part of a small accounts team, working closely with the Financial Controller.
The role is a full-time office position in Widnes, and the successful candidate must be based in a commutable distance from the office. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. Salary is based on experience, between £26,000 to £28,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Process purchase ledger and sales invoicing
- Perform bank reconciliations and enter financial data into systems
- Assist with credit control and financial reporting
- Support with month-end tasks
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience using accounting software like Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
