We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant to join our team at Sodexo in Royal Stoke University Hospital. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, staff, and visitors by maintaining a clean and hygienic environment throughout the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain patient safety by cleaning patient rooms, wards, communal areas, restrooms, and other hospital facilities.
  • Strip and clean beds, collect linen, and replenish supplies as needed.
  • Clean surfaces, including desks, ceilings, vents, walls, blinds, and floors to create a sterile environment.
  • Dust, mop, vacuum, sweep, and polish floors to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Empty bins and waste containers regularly.
  • Champion a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
