Job Description

This role is designed for individuals with military experience seeking to transition into the private sector.

Amazon's military recruiting team is available to discuss opportunities within the company.

In Amazon, former military personnel drive innovation and enhance customer experience.

As a Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Manager, you will play a key role in driving improvements on-site and at a regional level.

You will help colleagues maintain high standards while promoting a culture of safety and inclusivity on your site.

  • Manage your team on-site and collaborate with other teams across the company
  • Analyse data reports and provide leadership with information needed to make safety-related decisions
  • Provide guidance and arrangements for health and safety projects and policies
  • Develop programmes to improve the safety culture in Amazon
About the Team

The Customer Fulfilment (CF) team is the foundation of our business, handling over 1.5 million orders daily.

We're always looking for ways to offer a bigger product range, delivered quickly and affordably.

Our centres are based in Fulfilment Centres, referred to as the 'First Mile' because most Amazon packages start their journey here.

We manage dynamic inventory and facilitate speedy deliveries round the clock.

Requirements

To be considered, you must meet the following requirements:

Education to a degree level and additional qualifications to an NVQ5/NEBOSH Diploma level

Relevant experience managing a team

Relevant experience complying with local Health and Safety legislation

Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English
