Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical inspection, quality assurance, and subcontract machining.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing CMM inspections, producing reports, and maintaining knowledge of aerospace machining quality standards. A salary range of £50,000 - £65,000 per annum is expected, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Performing CMM inspections using PC-DMIS software
  • Producing accurate and detailed reports for First Article Inspection
  • Maintaining knowledge of aerospace machining quality standards and treatment processes
  • Effectively communicating with colleagues and stakeholders using Microsoft Office tools

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • High calibre performance-driven skills
  • Experience in sub-contract machining market
  • CMM programming/running using PC-DMIS Software
  • Extensive knowledge of sub-contract machining
  • Knowledge of aerospace machining quality standards and treatment processes
  • Effective use of Microsoft Office tools
