At WQE, we are seeking a skilled Physics and Electronics Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the Physics, Electronics, Computer Science & IT (PECIT) team, you will be responsible for providing equipment for lessons and demonstrations, maintaining apparatus, and assisting students during physics and electronics courses.

This is a permanent, term-time only post working 35 hours per week commencing as soon as possible. We estimate the salary for this position to be between £22,312 to £23,162 per annum, with an actual starting salary of approximately £18,318.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing equipment for lessons and demonstrations
  • Maintaining apparatus
  • Assisting students during physics and electronics courses

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • Solid educational foundation, including GCSEs (or equivalent) in Science and Maths or higher
  • No laboratory experience is mandatory, but you must demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and be comfortable under pressure
