Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner – Children in Care to join our Community Mental Health Team (CMHT). This role offers a unique opportunity to work with vulnerable children and their families, providing comprehensive support and guidance to help them navigate life's challenges.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate professional with a strong background in mental health nursing. As a key member of our CMHT, you will be responsible for assessing clients' needs, developing personalized care plans, and working collaboratively with other disciplines to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum two years post-qualification experience in mental health nursing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to drive and have access to a car for work-related purposes

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £40,000 per annum, plus excellent benefits package including 27 days' annual leave, NHS pension scheme, and opportunities for career development and growth.
