Kitchen Manager

We're seeking a seasoned Kitchen Manager to lead our team in Bognor Regis.
This role offers a unique opportunity to develop the skills of our team in one of our fantastic food venues. As a Butlin's resort, we're all about providing an Altogether More Entertaining and Fun Break, and our restaurants are a key part of that experience.
As a Kitchen Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a team of up to 20 chefs and kitchen porters, taking part in all aspects of team management from recruitment to retention. You'll be accountable for stocktakes, rosters, timesheets, health & safety compliance, and food safety compliance for the kitchen you lead.
You'll work closely with the Venue Manager and front of house team to provide an all-round service. You'll also support candidates on our in-house Chef Academy Development program and attend workshops and training where required.
This role is part of the Restaurants department and may involve supporting other kitchen teams and taking part in our event work during conferences.
We're looking for individuals with experience in a similar level role within a volume restaurant environment. If you're looking to step up to your next role in the kitchen, we'd love to hear from you.
You'll need to be hard working and determined, a reliable person who likes to get things done and who will look for better ways for the team to consistently deliver our brand standards.

You should have passed your Level 3 Food Safety qualification and be confident in leading a team to continually deliver high standards in a fast-paced and busy kitchen environment.
As with any chef role at this level, you'll also be responsible for managing margins and controlling costs and all things health, safety, and hygiene related.

Typical working hours: working five days over seven, covering 40 hours per week, and part of a bonus scheme.
