Excel Recruitment is a reputable agency specializing in the placement of dedicated professionals in various sectors. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Vulnerable Adult Supporter to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. Based in the Belfast area, this role offers a unique opportunity to work with a wide range of services throughout Northern Ireland, including those focused on addressing homelessness. With a starting salary of £25,500 - £27,500 per annum, this role offers excellent career prospects and a chance to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable adults.

As a Vulnerable Adult Supporter, you will be responsible for ensuring effective case management for a caseload of approximately 7-10 complex and entrenched individuals who experience multiple connected and dependent challenges. This may include homeless/unstable housing, problematic drug use, mental ill health, offending behavior, poor physical health, and trauma. Your primary role will be to act as a trusted key worker and coordinate a wraparound support plan for each client developed through the Belfast Complex Lives Multi-Disciplinary Team process. To be successful in this role, you will need at least 6 months' experience working with vulnerable children or adults, along with experience in care and support for young people suffering from poor mental health, alcohol/drug use, and working in a fast-paced environment. You must also be available to work shifts to cover the 24/7 service, possess a valid driving license, and have access to a car to meet the needs of the job. Furthermore, you will need to be NISCC registered (or agree to become registered within 6 months from the date of appointment)
