Job Title: Primary SEN Teaching Support Specialist

The position is for a skilled SEN Teaching Support Specialist to work with young students in a primary school setting. As an SEN Teaching Support Specialist, you will provide individualized support to students with varying levels of needs.

Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with class teachers to develop and implement personalized learning plans for students.
  2. Promote students' independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion through various activities and resources.
  3. Support students in accessing the curriculum and experiencing a sense of achievement.
  4. Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and resourcing to ensure a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
  5. Facilitate inclusion by encouraging participation of all students in learning and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

  1. Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN) in a primary school setting.
  2. Sensitivity and understanding to build good relationships with students and colleagues.
  3. A commitment to achieving the best outcomes for all students.
  4. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding students' well-being and equality.
  5. Honesty, hardworking, and a willingness to learn and develop.
  6. Good organizational skills and ability to build effective working relationships with students and adults.

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
