Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a vibrant primary special educational needs school in Bromley. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils with various SEN needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one support to students, helping them engage with their learning and develop independence, literacy, and mathematics skills.
  • Support with planning, preparation, and resourcing for lessons, promoting pupil's independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion.
  • Use effective behaviour management strategies consistently in line with the school's policy and procedures.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience working with students with various SEN needs, sensitivity, and understanding to build good relationships with pupils, and a commitment to getting the best outcomes for all pupils. You should also be honest, hardworking, transparent, and willing to learn and develop.
