Be the Hero on the Roadside

As a Roadside Recovery Driver with The AA, you'll be the first point of contact for our members in need of assistance. Your role will be to provide a safe and reassuring presence, ensuring our customers feel supported and cared for during their time of need.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
  • Work independently, using your expertise to recover vehicles and resolve issues.
  • Partner with customers to provide a seamless experience, from initial contact to resolution.
Requirements:
  • A full driving category C license (HGV 2) and ideally a CE (HGV 1) license.
  • A Driver CPC qualification and digital drivers/tachograph card.
  • Comfortable adapting to new technology and working shifts, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary, with a guaranteed minimum of £32,940 for CE (HGV 1) license holders and £29,660 for C (HGV 2) license holders.
  • A 28-day rolling rota, with average shift lengths of 9.75 hours and overtime available.
  • Free breakdown cover from day one, plus a range of other benefits, including uniform, boots, and equipment.
