Role Overview

Vodafone UK is seeking a skilled Network Planning Manager to lead the team in shaping the Network Evolution Plan, preparing and managing the UK Network 1-3 year budget submission, and ensuring alignment with Group and Local market requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Network Strategy execution through planning and steering of priorities, budget, and tracking execution.
  • Lead the Network Evolution Plan (NEP) and detailed budget submission for UK Networks, ensuring all dependencies are captured cross-functionally considering both Vodafone Strategic and UK Market priorities.
  • Manage In-Year Budget Re-Prioritisation and change control through chairing the Network Capital Allocation Review (NCAR).
  • Prepare executive material to enable investment plan approvals.
  • Support the mobilisation and tracking of Network CAPEX spend, including profile/phasing, risks, and Q4 closure.
  • Lead and develop team members through clear objective and target setting for performance and career development.

Requirements

  • A strong Network Planning background with experience of creating long and short-range Network Investment Plans and cost modelling.
  • A planning and financial mindset with experience managing large CAPEX budgets.
  • Knowledge and experience working within the Telecoms market.
  • The ability to lead, inspire, and develop team members.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to engage with Stakeholders at all levels.
