Advanced Social Work Practitioner

5 Star Recruitment is seeking an experienced Advanced Social Work Practitioner to join our team in a challenging and rewarding role.
About the RoleThe Safeguarding Children in Need team is a multi-disciplinary team that works directly with families who are identified as Children in Need under Section 17 of the Children Act 1989.
The service operates across three geographical pods: Wyre Forest and Bromsgrove.
The team works with children and families who require support and guidance to ensure their safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Work with children and families to identify and assess their needs
- Develop and implement support plans to meet the needs of children and families
- Collaborate with other agencies and professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to supporting children and families
- Provide guidance and support to families to help them meet their needs and improve their circumstances
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the effective delivery of services
Applicants should have a strong background in social work and experience of working with children and families in a safeguarding context.
They should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.
A driving license and access to a vehicle may be required for this role.
