As a leading provider of equipment hire solutions, GAP Group LTD is seeking an exceptional Site Supervisor to join our Plant and Tool division. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced depot environment, where you will be responsible for the efficient management of the workshop, ensuring maximum availability of plant for hire and allocating tasks effectively among the depot Fitters.

Salary: We offer a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and bonus scheme opportunities.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have proven experience working as a senior plant mechanic or fitter, with a relevant mechanical qualification or time served. They will possess sound knowledge of heavy plant machinery maintenance, strong attention to detail, and accuracy under pressure. As a team leader, they will be expected to develop and manage teams within a dynamic workshop environment, promoting health and safety at all times.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience working in a senior plant mechanic/fitter roleRelevant mechanical qualification or time servedSound knowledge of heavy plant machinery maintenanceStrong attention to detail and accuracy under pressureAbility to develop and manage teamsA valid driving licence
