About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team at Molecular Devices. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and growing sales with new and existing customers in the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through telesales and lead prospecting
  • Provide regular updates on sales pipeline and forecasts to the sales team
  • Develop and maintain a sales territory through a time and territory plan
  • Identify, qualify, and close sales of Molecular Devices' system portfolio
  • Maintain and develop revenue through current and new channel partners
  • Prepare and present product demonstrations and training to customers
  • Develop and maintain a high degree of accuracy and integrity in the prospect database and customer lists
  • Collaborate with other business teams to ensure seamless customer support
  • Maintain technical and application competence of Molecular Devices' products
  • Monitor competitor activities and products
  • Contribute to the evaluation of marketing programs and attend trade shows and workshops
Requirements
  • Degree educated in a science subject or qualified by experience
  • Proven track record in Inside Sales or Telemarketing within the Life Sciences industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Sales driven, self-starter, organized, confident, and a team player
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fluency in French or other European languages
  • Experience with SalesForce and analytical tools such as Power BI
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite of applications
  • Experience working in an international environment with global accounts
