Job Title: Learning Disability Support Specialist

Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Disability Support Specialist to join our team at Creative Support Ltd. As a specialist in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our service users.

About the Role:

This role involves providing respectful personal care to individuals and assisting with domestic tasks such as cooking and cleaning. You will engage with service users, building trusting therapeutic relationships and promoting wellbeing and positive coping skills. Our team provides support to service users in their own homes or in other settings, offering respite to carers and practical and emotional support to families as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • A passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities
  • Ability to work within a structured approach and build trusting relationships with service users
  • Fully manual driving license essential for driving service users' cars when required
