Job Title: Paediatric Ward Manager

We are seeking an exceptional Paediatric Ward Manager to join our forward-thinking Senior Paediatric Nurse Leadership team. As a dynamic and motivated individual, you will be responsible for the daily clinical, operational, and quality management of outpatient and day case paediatric clinical areas.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional development of staff within the paediatric unit
  • Support all staff within the paediatric unit
  • Work in partnership with all multi-disciplinary teams
  • Provide compassionate leadership and professional development for nursing and support workers within the service
  • Develop best practice and ensure consistency across the paediatric unit

Person Specification:
  • Experience leading a team
  • Relevant experience in Acute Paediatrics
  • Evidence of previous resource management experience
  • Teaching and Assessing qualification
Requirements:
  • RN (Child)
  • Current NMC registration
  • Postgraduate qualification relevant to clinical specialty
  • Degree level qualification in health-related subject
  • Teaching and Assessing qualification
  • Microsoft Office Skills
  • Master's degree or working towards
