About the RoleThis role requires a candidate who is confident and enthusiastic about supporting children with complex and palliative needs to maximise their potential. As a Complex Care Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating, providing, and progressing our service to meet the changing needs of children and their families. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver care that is tailored to the individual needs of each child.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and provide care to children with complex needs, including palliative care
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver care that meets the individual needs of each child
- Develop and implement care plans that are tailored to the needs of each child
- Provide education and training to junior members of the team
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that support the delivery of high-quality care
We are looking for a candidate who has:
- At least 2 years of post-registration experience in a community or complex care setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to delivering high-quality care to children and young people
- Experience of working with children who have complex and palliative needs
- Knowledge of audit and research management
- Teaching and presentation experience
- Good computer skills
