Job Title: Mental Health Practitioner - Drug and Alcohol Team

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Practitioner to join our team in a leading drug and alcohol rehabilitation program in South East London.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Mental Health Practitioner to work with our clients in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a specialist in drug and alcohol teams, you will provide comprehensive support and treatment to individuals struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess clients' mental health and substance use, developing and implementing personalized treatment plans
  • Provide counseling and therapy, using evidence-based practices to help clients manage cravings and develop coping strategies
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare providers, promoting holistic recovery and improving overall well-being
  • Offer education and support to clients' families, as well as work on prevention and outreach programs within the community
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A valid full UK driving license
  • Experience working in a drug and alcohol team or similar setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
