Strategic Data Lead for Economic Crime Prevention

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Data Lead to join our Economic Crime Prevention Platform team. In this role, you will lead a team of Business Insights and Analytics colleagues in the fight against Fraud and Financial crime.
Your key responsibilities will include defining the data strategy, supporting your colleagues to deliver this through a portfolio of initiatives, and providing data-led insight to enduring product teams.
- You will be responsible for driving improvements across the resolving economic crime arena by identifying opportunities to obtain additional data and evaluating the benefits of any changes.
- With your analytical expertise, you will identify innovative solutions to support the monitoring of our economic crime resolution controls, through reporting, dashboards, and automation.
- You will work with stakeholders across the Group to identify requirements and opportunities to enhance our economic crime resolution processes and controls that help Britain prosper rather than fraudsters.
- Proven track record of producing data-driven insights that lead to realisation of benefits and improvements for our customers and business is essential.
- Experience of SQL, BigQuery or Python in real-world business application is required.
- Candidates should have experience applying data analytics techniques within a commercial/industrial context, including using Tableau or PowerBI to present data.
- A clear and effective communication style to convey complex data insights to diverse audiences is crucial.
