Economic Crime Prevention Specialist

Compliance Professionals is seeking an experienced Economic Crime Prevention Specialist to join their team in Kent. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in anti-money laundering (AML) and will be responsible for overseeing first-line of defence activities, providing subject matter expertise, and ensuring suspicious activity reporting is dealt with in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee first line of defence activities
  • Provide subject matter expertise on AML procedures
  • Ensure timely reporting of suspicious activity
  • Build relationships with stakeholders across business areas
  • Recommend enhancements to working practices and procedures

This role requires experience in the second line of defence, preferably in an advisory type role, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and be able to work within tight timescales.

The estimated salary for this position is around £40,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
