Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist in Trauma and Orthopaedics

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist to join our Trauma and Orthopaedics team. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and management to the team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality occupational therapy services to patients.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy, with experience in trauma and orthopaedics. You will be responsible for managing a team of occupational therapists and assistants, providing clinical supervision and guidance, and contributing to the development of occupational therapy services.
You will work closely with the service manager, therapy lead, and trauma and orthopaedic service consultants to agree protocols and care pathways for the assessment and management of patients. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing occupational therapy services, including the development of new programs and services.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams. You will be a strong advocate for occupational therapy and will be able to promote the benefits of occupational therapy to patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals.

Main Responsibilities- To provide clinical leadership and management to the Trauma and Orthopaedics team.
- To manage a team of occupational therapists and assistants, providing clinical supervision and guidance.
