Job Description

Frasers Group is seeking a highly skilled Cost Manager to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our Capital Expenditure programme, you will be responsible for providing commercial support across all facets of the programme, including feasibility estimates and project development appraisals.

Your primary focus will be on undertaking global reporting of monthly cost reports and cashflows, as well as maintaining and refining the commercial/contractual suite of documentation. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and the Cost Management team to manage the cost model as requirements change.

As a seasoned Cost Manager with experience in working with external teams of QS', you will have held a QS position previously and have a strong understanding of retail construction, building regulations, and compliance. You must have excellent financial appraisal skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide commercial support across the Capital Expenditure programme for Frasers Group in the UK.
  2. Support the production of feasibility estimates and project development appraisals.
  3. Undertake global reporting of monthly cost reports and cashflows.
  4. Maintain and refine the commercial/contractual suite of documentation.
  5. Work with internal stakeholders and the Cost Management team to manage the cost model as requirements change.

Requirements:

  1. A Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  2. At least 3-5 years of experience in Cost Management.
  3. Experience in working with external teams of QS'.
  4. Strong understanding of retail construction, building regulations, and compliance.
  5. Excellent financial appraisal skills.
  6. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
