About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lawyer to join our team at Frasers Group. As a key member of our legal team, you will play a crucial role in reviewing, negotiating, drafting, and advising on a wide range of supplier and business partnership contracts across our Group's businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and negotiate commercial contracts with suppliers and partners
  • Draft and advise on contracts, including commercial, supply chain, concessions, events, marketing, e-commerce, franchising, and licensing agreements
  • Provide guidance on marketing and promotional activity, including CAP code compliance and drafting associated terms and conditions
  • Support the e-commerce team on legal aspects of digital marketing and website operations
  • Manage wholesale contracts and concession agreements with suppliers
  • General IP work, including licensing of own brands and third-party licensing
  • Advising and supporting the customer service team on customer complaints and handling disputes and small claims
  • Assisting on larger M&A work, including conducting due diligence investigations, drafting SPA/APAs, and ancillary documents
  • Liaising with enforcement agencies and regulatory bodies, such as the ICO, ASA, and Trading Standards
  • Instructing and managing external lawyers on specialist work
  • Supervising junior members of the team
Requirements
  • Qualified lawyer with experience in commercial contract negotiation
  • Strong understanding of commercial law and contract negotiation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Collaborative approach to work, with a focus on team collaboration
  • Ambitious and looking to develop their career with a global PLC
