Job Title: Commercial Lawyer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lawyer to join our team at Frasers Group. As a Commercial Lawyer, you will play a key role in reviewing, negotiating, drafting, and advising on a wide range of supplier and business partnership contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and negotiate commercial contracts with suppliers and business partners
  • Draft and advise on contracts, including commercial, supply chain, concessions, events, marketing, ecommerce, franchising, and licencing agreements
  • Provide guidance on marketing and promotional activity, including CAP code compliance and drafting associated T&Cs
  • Support the e-commerce team on legal aspects of digital marketing and website operations
  • Assist with wholesale contracts and concession agreements with suppliers
  • General IP work, including licencing of own brands and third-party licencing
  • Advising and supporting the customer service team on customer complaints and handling disputes and small claims
  • Assist with larger M&A work, including conducting due diligence investigations, drafting SPA/APAs, and ancillary documents
  • Liaise with enforcement agencies and regulatory bodies, including the ICO, ASA, and Trading Standards
  • Instruct and manage external lawyers on work that is in excess of in-house capacity or specialist in nature

Requirements:

  • Strong experience working within commercial contract negotiation
  • Qualified and able to hit the ground running using expertise in this sector
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment where priorities are ever-changing
  • Excellent communicator, able to build strong relationships with those at all levels of an organisation
  • Able to provide commercially focused, pragmatic legal advice
  • Collaborative approach to work, always taking the team with you
