Job Title: Insurance Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Insurance Administrator to join our Underwriting Support Team in Cardiff. As an Insurance Administrator, you will play a crucial role in processing amendments to policies, liaising with brokers, and supporting the underwriting team with referrals and adjustments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process amendments to policies and liaise with brokers as necessary
  • Support the underwriting team with referrals and adjustments
  • Assist with the inputting of accurate data onto bespoke systems and Microsoft office systems
  • Issue documentation and deal with daily post and diary management
  • Deal with complex telephone queries and transfer them to the relevant departments
  • Carry out general administration business support as and when required
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible, adaptable, and proactive approach to tasks with the ability to learn quickly
  • Customer-focused with experience in dealing with a high volume of complex calls in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage your own workload in line with changing priorities
  • Ability to work as part of a team and support others
  • Proficient in using MS packages such as MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook
